- PRODUCER: ... yes?
- MOFFAT: He's going to die.
- PRODUCER: What?!

- PRODUCER: Steven, you can't kill the lead!
- MOFFAT: Twice.
- PRODUCER: - can't kill the lead twice!
- MOFFAT: ... fine, he'll come back to life the second time.
- PRODUCER: ... that's better.
- MOFFAT: But I want Hitler. In a cupboard.
- PRODUCER: WHAT?!
- MOFFAT: PUT HITLER IN THE CUPBOARD!

So I just Realized
In “Turn Left” Donna’s neighbor gets shipped of to a labor camp because “England is for the English” and he wasn’t, well, English. Then teary-eyed Wilf says, “Labor camps, that’s what they called them last time.” Now maybe I’m a self-centered American that forgets the rest of the world has history too, or I’m an optimist that doesn’t think Doctor Who will go that evil, or maybe I’m just thick, but I always assumed they were talking about the same kind of camps as the Japanese Internment Camps. I just realized not ten minutes ago they were talking about the concentration camps. That scene suddenly got a whole lot sadder to me.

Today was my first day of college classes, but frankly, none of my classes were as interesting as talking to my older sister for the first time and finding out I have an older brother…and then of course talking to him…
Move in Day
I met both of my roommates today. So far it seems we’re going to get along swimmingly. Jocelyn and I are sharing a room. We’ve found we both like to get up early and go to bed by 10ish. She won’t mind my alarm clock being the radio set to a country station. Also, she is fairly neat. Kyra is sleeping in the other room by herself (for now) because she’s a bit messier than us and more of a night person. Kyra loves Doctor Who. Naturally, we decided we have to show it to Jocelyn. We just finished watching “Rose” and will show her some more later. I found out Timmy is not only in the same dorm as me but also the same floor. It’s nice to know someone already even if we’re not very close. Everyone seems very nice. Yup, that’s about it for today.
Honors
So I got accepted into the honors program at UNC and that’s good I guess. Now I’ll have to keep my grades up. Two things though. 1. I have to take their class which is only available from 2:30 to 3:20. This sucks because I had hoped to have all my classes finished by 1ish and now that’s out the window. 2. I have to go to their get-to-know-other-honors-students-so-you’ll-have-friends-thing on Aug 27. I had been hoping to come down to donate blood, have a barbeque, and watch the new Doctor Who all with my good friends, but that too is out the window. Honors is worth it…I hope.
Finally a Title!
It may change, but it’s the bet I could come up with for now. Really, anything is better than “TBA” and why not make it a Doctor Who reference? So here it is, “Chesterton, Harkness, and Williams” at least for now anyway.
Sort of sounds like a law firm….
